We are seeking an experienced Service Now Developer to support and enhance the organization's Capacity Management processes within the Service Now platform. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Service Now solutions that improve infrastructure capacity planning, utilization tracking, forecasting, performance analytics, and operational reporting. The role requires close collaboration with Capacity Management, Infrastructure, Cloud, Operations, and Service Delivery teams to ensure proactive management of IT resources and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain custom applications, workflows, and integrations within Service Now to support Capacity Management processes.
- Configure and customize Service Now modules including ITSM, CMDB, Service Mapping, Performance Analytics, Discovery, and Reporting.
- Develop capacity dashboards, KPIs, and forecasting reports for servers, storage, network, cloud, and application resources.
- Integrate Service Now with infrastructure monitoring and observability tools such as Solar Winds, Dynatrace, App Dynamics, Splunk, Nagios, Azure Monitor, and AWS Cloud Watch.
- Automate data collection, trend analysis, threshold alerts, and capacity planning workflows.
- Support CMDB health initiatives and ensure accurate infrastructure asset and configuration data.
- Develop and maintain REST/SOAP APIs, Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer workflows, and Scheduled Jobs.
- Partner with Capacity Management teams to analyze utilization trends and recommend automation improvements.
- Participate in Service Now upgrades, patching, testing, and release management activities.
- Create technical documentation, process flows, and knowledge articles.
- Troubleshoot platform issues and provide Level 3 support for Service Now-related incidents and enhancements.
- Service Now Expertise
- 5+ years of Service Now development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- ITSM
- CMDB
- Service Mapping
- Discovery
- Performance Analytics
- Flow Designer
- Integration Hub
- Experience developing custom Service Now applications and portals.
Skills:
- REST API, SOAP, JSON, XML integrations.
- SQL and data analysis skills.
- Experience with Service Now reporting and dashboard development.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Capacity Management Knowledge
- ITIL Capacity Management processes
- Capacity planning and forecasting
- Trend analysis and predictive analytics
- Hybrid Cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
- Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA)

- Banking or Financial Services industry experience preferred.
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $34.67/hour - $54.18/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
