About the RoleWe are seeking a senior Market Risk Production Manager to lead the stability, reliability, and continuous improvement of a critical global Market Risk technology platform.
This individual will serve as the primary interface between Market Risk business users and Technology
, ensuring that the platform remains highly available, predictable, scalable, and responsive to business needs across APAC, EMEA, and North America.
The role requires a hands-on technical leader who can quickly understand complex application environments, diagnose production issues, coordinate resolution across multiple technology teams, and communicate effectively with senior business stakeholders.
The role requires sufficient technical depth to review code, understand architecture, analyze logs and database behavior, challenge technical solutions, and provide credible direction to experienced engineers.
The individual will balance immediate production priorities and incident resolution with longer-term initiatives designed to improve platform resilience, performance, observability, and operational stability.
Key Responsibilities Platform Stability & Production Management- Own the day-to-day stability, reliability, and operational performance of a business-critical Market Risk platform.
- Lead production support activities across globally distributed business and technology teams.
- Act as a senior escalation point for high-priority production incidents and service disruptions.
- Drive incident triage, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, remediation, and follow-up actions.
- Analyze recurring incidents and systemic issues to identify opportunities for permanent resolution.
- Improve platform predictability, resiliency, monitoring, capacity, and operational performance.
- Balance immediate production priorities with strategic platform-stability initiatives.
- Ensure appropriate operational controls, monitoring, escalation processes, and support procedures are in place.
- Serve as the primary Technology partner for Market Risk and Global Markets users.
- Build strong relationships with risk managers, pricing teams, senior business stakeholders, and technology leaders.
- Understand business workflows, operational pain points, priorities, and platform dependencies.
- Translate business concerns into actionable technology improvements.
- Communicate platform incidents, impacts, remediation plans, risks, and enhancement priorities clearly to senior stakeholders.
