Rutgers University is hiring a Consulting Application Developer / Business Intelligence Report Developer. The role involves working directly with stakeholders to gather requirements, designing and implementing BI reporting and dashboard solutions using Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle BI Publisher, and Tableau, while managing the entire BI development lifecycle and promoting best practices within the university.
Highlights- Develop and maintain BI reports and dashboards from requirements analysis through implementation and support.
- Perform detailed data analysis, including complex SQL query development.
- Establish BI standards, best practices, and manage reusable data visualization templates.
- Provide mentoring and guidance on BI reporting lifecycle and tools.
- Evangelize BI strategies and foster user adoption through demos and training materials.
- Stay current with BI, reporting, and ETL technologies; participate in community forums and conferences.
- Proficient with Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle BI Publisher, Tableau, and ETL processes.
- Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and seven years of BI reporting/dashboard development experience or equivalent.
- Salary range between $121,608 and $175,737 with comprehensive benefits package.
- Works within the Department of Enterprise Applications and Research Computing (EARC) in the Office of Information Technology (OIT).
