- Support enterprise virtualization infrastructure running on HP and Dell server hardware.
- Perform VMware HCX migrations and troubleshoot migration-related issues.
- Support VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and VMware vSAN environments.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, authentication, security, and hardware integration issues affecting VMware environments.
- Work with VMware NSX components and virtual networking technologies, as applicable.
- Execute technical implementation plans and infrastructure changes while minimizing production disruption.
- Develop, maintain, and execute scripts to automate operational tasks and improve migration efficiency.
- Follow established technical procedures and contribute to the documentation and implementation of operational standards.
- Operate within an ITIL-based framework, following established processes for incident management, change management, and problem resolution.
- Collaborate with global infrastructure, networking, security, and operations teams across a large enterprise organization.
- Support time-sensitive technical initiatives in a high-pressure production environment.
- Participate in evening and weekend migration windows and scheduled maintenance activities as required.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience administering, supporting, and troubleshooting VMware environments in enterprise production settings.
- Strong experience with VMware vSphere 7.x and 8.x, including infrastructure-level troubleshooting beyond basic virtual machine administration.
- Demonstrated experience planning and executing large-scale VM migrations in production environments.
- Experience supporting VMware HCX.
- Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, server hardware, networking, and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with VMware security, authentication, and hardware interfaces.
- Scripting experience for automation and operational support.
- Experience working within an enterprise IT operations team.
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and operational processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
