The Data Office is seeking a Business Data Analyst to help improve how business data is defined, governed, and utilized across the organization. This role serves as a bridge between business stakeholders and data initiatives, helping ensure that critical business information is accurate, well understood, and supports effective decision-making.

The successful candidate will partner with business teams to improve data quality, document business information, support governance processes, analyze business requirements, and help drive adoption of enterprise data capabilities.

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand their processes, reporting needs, and data challenges.
• Gather, document, and analyze business requirements.
• Help translate business needs into practical data and process solutions.
• Support cross-functional initiatives focused on improving business data and reporting.

• Assist in documenting business definitions, data ownership, and data lineage.
• Support data quality monitoring, issue identification, and remediation efforts.
• Help identify data inconsistencies, control gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in governance activities supporting critical business data.

• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and controls.
• Support workflow design and implementation efforts.
• Help document and maintain business procedures and operating practices.
• Assist with implementation of new data management and governance processes.

• Develop reports, dashboards, presentations, and business insights.
• Help business stakeholders understand and use available data resources.

• Collaborate with business users, data stewards, risk partners, technology teams, and other stakeholders.
• Support user training, communication, and adoption activities.
• Participate in working groups, meetings, and project initiatives.
• Build strong relationships across business and support functions.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Management, or a related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, consulting, or related disciplines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
