iQuanti is SEO agency of record, delivering SEO strategy, technical SEO, content briefs, and performance measurement through a dedicated pod (SEO SME, engagement lead, engagement managers, and analysts). This role is additive to that scope and is deliberately narrow: it is a hands‑on execution seat, not a second strategist or a workflow owner.
The role receives specific tasks routed to it through Adobe Workfront intake and actions them. The work is primarily metadata — reviewing copy to add or refine title tags, meta descriptions, headings, and related elements — alongside general on‑page SEO reviews so content carries what it needs to rank in traditional search and be surfaced and cited by AI answer engines and LLMs (Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and similar).
In practice this is a backstop: content process should account for SEO from the start, but the teams don't always have the expertise to catch everything — this person catches what slips through.
This is not a writing role. Where it clearly helps, the person may suggest a small content addition — an extra paragraph or a short listicle — but does not produce net‑new content; substantial writing routes to the pod. They own their piece of the work, not the end‑to‑end workflow through the system.
Because work arrives as a mix of planned and ad‑hoc requests, the role requires sound judgment: the ability to prioritize competing tasks, decide what can be handled independently, and recognize when to elevate. They need enough SEO fluency to know what to do without close supervision — but deep strategy, technical SEO, and formal reporting remain with the existing pod.
What You’ll Be Doing- Metadata is the core of the job. Review copy and page content to add and refine metadata — title tags, meta descriptions, headings/heading structure, and image alt text.
- Act as the SEO backstop. Content process should apply SEO from the start; catch the on‑page elements the upstream teams miss — keyword/intent alignment, internal linking, clear structure, and scannable formatting.
- Optimize for AI / LLM visibility. Ensure content is structured to be surfaced and cited by AI answer engines and LLMs — clear question-and-answer framing, factual and self‑contained passages, structured data where relevant, and authoritative, well‑organized copy.
- Suggest, don't write. Where it clearly helps, recommend a small content addition — an extra paragraph or a short listicle — but do not produce net‑new content; route substantial writing to the pod or writers.
- Apply SEO standards and brand/compliance guardrails to every review. SEO Program Leadership
- Pick up SEO/content tasks assigned to them in Adobe Workfront and work them to completion.
- Own their piece, not the system. Keep their own tasks accurate, documented, and up to date — status, notes, and completion — without owning end‑to‑end workflow governance or Workfront administration.
- Turn work around within agreed service levels and keep requesters informed of status and any blockers.
- Manage a stream of ad‑hoc and unplanned requests alongside planned tasks.
- Use good judgment. Assess urgency and business impact, prioritize competing requests, and decide what to action now, what to sequence, and what to hand off.
- Know when to elevate. Recognize when a request exceeds their remit or carries broader technical, strategic, compliance, or reputational implications, and route it to the pod or owner promptly.
Reporting is not owned by this role — the AOR pod continues to produce SEO performance/outcomes reporting.
- Provide inputs on the work completed — what was reviewed, optimized, or changed — to support the pod's reporting.
- Where useful, partner with the agency team to tie…
