Talati Oliver James is working with a leading P&C insurance carrier that is looking to make additional hires in their claims coverage unit. In this senior technical role, you will manage a caseload of complex casualty claims (including other P&C business lines) and review high level coverage matters / disputes. All claims within your caseload will be high severity and will require extensive and thorough coverage and litigation investigation.###

** Key Responsibilities
- *** Manage a caseload of large loss casualty claims involving complex coverage issues
* Providing coverage and litigation advice to internal and external claims professionals
* Working closely with legal counsels and other internal & external legal / claims business partners
* Develop coverage and litigation strategies to protect the insurer and handle claims effectively
* High level reporting on coverage and litigation matters
** Key Experience

Required:

*** 5+ years handling complex, large loss casualty claims (including wide ranging CGL, premise liability, product liability, environmental liability, sexual abuse and/or other bodily injury areas (at an insurance carrier or law firm)
* Experience handling other P&C claims such as commercial property or professional lines highly preferred
* 5+ years handling complex coverage and arbitration and deposition matters within casualty claims (at an insurance carrier or law firm)
* Experience working on complex coverage matters across primary, excess and umbrella claims
* Experience working on complex litigation matters within P&C insurance claims
* ** JD law essential – please note we cannot consider candidates without this
