We are seeking a proactive and business‑oriented procurement professional to lead strategic sourcing. This role will play a critical part in driving value creation, supplier performance, operational efficiency, and procurement transformation across the organization.

Job responsibilities
  • Procurement Excellence & Transformation – Assist in the implementation of strategies to evolve procurement into a more strategic function, support initiatives aimed at process simplification, automation, and adoption of procurement best practices. Conduct initial analysis of spend data, supplier performance, and procurement trends to identify potential areas for optimization. Support efforts to increase spend under management and maintain sourcing governance standards.
  • Strategic Sourcing & Category Management – Support development and execution of sourcing strategies for assigned indirect categories, participate in end‑to‑end sourcing activities (RFIs/RFPs, negotiations, supplier selection, contracting), identify cost‑optimization opportunities, and contribute to supplier consolidation and spend optimization initiatives.
  • Supplier & Contract Management – Build & maintain strategic supplier relationships (HQ & across North America); monitor supplier performance through KPIs and business reviews; support implementation and maintenance of contracts, compliance, and governance; support risk mitigation and supplier sustainability initiatives.
  • Business Partnership & Stakeholder Management – Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders, contribute to discussions with leadership, prepare data‑driven insights, conduct market intelligence research, and support internal teams in aligning purchasing strategies with operational and commercial priorities.
What you will learn in the first 6 months
  • Deepen understanding of the company’s procurement landscape: internal processes, systems, key suppliers, and spend categories.
  • Master sourcing and contract fundamentals: support RFI/RFP processes, basic negotiation tactics, and contract terms and compliance requirements.
  • Build foundational stakeholder relationships: establish working relationships with key internal stakeholders.
  • Enhance data analysis skills for procurement: independently analyze spend data and supplier performance reports to identify trends and opportunities.
What you will achieve in 12 months
  • Successfully manage assigned sourcing projects: independently lead 1‑2 projects from RFI/RFP through supplier selection and contract finalization.
  • Proactively identify cost‑optimization opportunities: present data‑backed recommendations for savings or process improvements within assigned categories.
  • Strengthen supplier performance management: own monitoring of specific supplier KPIs, conduct regular business reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement plans.
  • Become a reliable point of contact for stakeholders: serve as a trusted resource and align purchasing activities with business objectives.
Physical Requirements
  • Remain in a stationary position on average of 7.5 hours per day.
  • Light to moderate lifting may be required.
  • Regularly required to stand, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, and operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
Qualifications
  • 3‑5 years of experience in purchasing or a related field, ideally in the beauty industry.
  • Strong analytical mindset with advanced data analysis capabilities.
  • Ability to transform complex spend data into actionable business insights.
  • Experience with procurement reporting tools, ERP systems, and data visualization platforms preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills required; analytics tools strongly preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; can build and maintain relationships internally and externally.
