Senior Logistics Sourcing Manager

We are partnering with a leading global organization to identify an experienced procurement professional with expertise in logistics, transportation, and supply chain-related sourcing.

This role offers the opportunity to lead a team of sourcing professionals while managing strategic supplier relationships and complex procurement initiatives across logistics-related categories. The successful candidate will combine strong commercial acumen, leadership capabilities, and category management experience to deliver measurable value through sourcing excellence, operational efficiency, and supplier performance.

You will play a key role in shaping procurement strategies, driving cost optimization initiatives, and partnering with stakeholders across operations, supply chain, and business functions to support organizational growth and performance.

• Lead sourcing activities across logistics-related categories, including transportation, freight, warehousing, and third-party logistics (3PL) services.
• Manage and develop a team of sourcing professionals, providing coaching, performance management, and career development support.
• Set team priorities and ensure the successful execution of sourcing strategies, category plans, and business objectives.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing projects, including market assessments, RFx processes, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract implementation.
• Develop sourcing strategies that drive cost optimization, service improvements, supplier innovation, and risk mitigation.
• Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships while monitoring performance and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
• Conduct market intelligence, benchmarking, and spend analysis to inform sourcing decisions and category strategies.
• Partner with stakeholders across operations, supply chain, finance, and procurement to align sourcing activities with business priorities.
• Drive procurement best practices, supplier governance, and continuous improvement initiatives across the logistics portfolio.

• 6+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, or supply chain functions.
• Experience leading, developing, and motivating procurement or sourcing teams.
• Experience sourcing logistics, transportation, freight, warehousing, distribution, or 3PL services.
• Demonstrated success delivering cost savings, supplier performance improvements, and commercial value.
• Experience leading RFx processes, supplier negotiations, and contract discussions.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
• Experience operating within matrixed and cross-functional business environments.
• Strong analytical skills, including spend analysis, market research, and benchmarking.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills.
