We’re looking for a contract‑to‑hire Custodian for our PM shift
. This position is based in our Jersey City, NJ office headquarters and will report to the Senior Workplace Manager
.

The shift schedule is Monday‑Friday from 2pm‑10:30pm.

• Performs general, routine custodial duties, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, and restocking paper and soap supplies.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks.
• Assist in setup and breakdown of events and meetings.
• Work with Facilities, Workplace, and Operations to ensure office needs are met.
• Respond to tickets and requests from other departments.
• Be able to read chemical SDS (SAFETY DATA SHEET).
• Other duties as assigned.

• Custodial experience preferred but not required.
• Can prioritize tasks given during scheduled work shift.
• Be detail‑oriented with evaluating inventory of supplies.
• Have a strong attention to detail with custodial tasks including cleanliness and sanitation practices.
• Flexibility to adjust to schedule/requirement changes.

• Computer Use:
  Typing, mouse work, and sitting and looking at a computer potentially for long periods of time.
• Hand Use:
  Regular hand use for various tasks.
• Hearing Requirements:
  Ability to hear alarms, signals, and verbal instructions.
• Lifting and Carrying:
  Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 25 pounds.
• Phone Answering:
  Talking on the phone and texting may be required, as well as manual dexterity to operate a computer and phone system efficiently.
• Sitting or Standing:
  Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

The reasonable estimated hourly rate for this position is $19. Actual compensation varies based on a variety of non‑discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience and skill set. Shift 2 workers are also eligible for an additional $1/hr premium, in addition to their standard hourly rate.
