Cath Lab Technician; Traveler or Local

AZAD is seeking a Cath Lab Technician for a W2 Contract position in Newton, New Jersey. Both Local and Travel candidates can apply.

Schedule: 4 days a week, 7 am - 5 pm.

Assignment Duration: The initial assignment length is 12 weeks with a probability of being extended.

Compensation & Benefits: The hourly compensation pay rate range is between $34.00 - $39.50, plus daily Non-Taxed stipends, $110 Lodging and $68 Meals & Incidentals (non-local candidates). Local candidates' hourly compensation pay rate range is between $53.00 - $57.00. Benefits include Co-paid Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, Cafeteria Plan, and 401k.

Non-Local Candidate Estimated Weekly Gross Pay: $2,826.00 (includes non-taxed travel stipends).

Local Candidate Estimated Weekly Gross Pay: $2,280.00

Essential Functions:

• Prepare and prep for cardiac caths, PCI(STEMI) and other procedures such as peripheral vascular, pacemaker, interventional radiology procedures, etc.
• Able to monitor, document and calculate hemodynamic data.
• Provide procedural assistance to physician, pre, intra and post procedure.
• Assess and manage access site, and inform physician.
• Adhere to On call protocol for Cath lab.
• Prepare patient for procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist
• RCIS certification preferred
• BLS, ACLS & IABP experience required
• 2 years Cardiac Cath lab experience
• RT, CVT, or RCIS with Direct Cath Lab experience
