Pay Range: $47.85 - $67.04 per hour

Qualifications

Required:

  • ASN or Nursing Diploma from an accredited school of nursing
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient computer skills

Preferred:

  • Med./Surg. Telemetry and/or ER nursing experience
  • ER certifications
Certifications and Licenses Required
  • BLS upon hire and ACLS Certification within 6 months
  • Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License
Scheduling Requirements
  • Evening Shift, 35.3 hours per week (12pm-12am)
  • Monday‑Friday, every other weekend and holiday rotation
Essential Functions
  • Provide nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain awareness of ethical standards of practice as defined by the ANA code of ethics.
  • Ensure safety in practice, including reporting safety issues such as hazardous environments or medical errors.
  • Apply evidence‑based practice and advance knowledge of self and others through effective communication with the care team.
  • Know the patient population served and adapt care accordingly.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to appropriate team members, collaborating with other patient care providers.
  • Set and evaluate priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement.
  • Utilize the nursing process to integrate all aspects of care and individualize the plan of care for each patient.
