Registered Nurse (RN) – Mental Health Unit-Open Unit – Part Time Night

Pay Range: $46.47 - $64.93 per hour (anticipated for New Jersey). Compensation will vary based on education, skills, and experience.

The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients within the Mental Health Unit, ensuring compliance with the Nurse Practice Act, regulatory standards, and the ANA code of ethics. The role involves promoting a safe, evidence‑based, and patient‑centered environment.

Required:

• ADN
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills

Preferred:

• BSN
• 2 years of experience as a Behavioral Health RN

• Active NJ RN license or compact RN license with NJ endorsement
• BLS from the American Heart Association

• Night Shift, 23.25 hours 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Monday – Friday, every other weekend and holiday rotation
• Part Time

• The Registered Nurse provides nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards, ensuring adherence to the ANA code of ethics.
• Maintains safety in practice, embraces evidence-based practice, and pursues ongoing professional development.
• Reports safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors.
• Understands and cares for the patient population served.
• Supervises and delegates tasks to team members, collaborating with other providers.
• Sets and evaluates priorities and interventions with measurable outcomes.
