Qualifications- BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program (expected completion date).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Interventional radiology experience.
- Critical care experience.
- BLS (American Heart Association).
- Active NJ RN license or compact RN license with NJ endorsement.
- ACLS.
- Vascular access certification (preferred).
- Day shift.
- Scheduled as needed with a minimum of 2 shifts per month.
- Per Diem.
- Will need to work 1 winter and 1 summer holiday.
- On call.
The role of the Professional Registered Nurse is to provide quality nursing care in collaboration with the medical staff and within the guidelines of the New Jersey State Nurse Practice Act. The Professional Nurse implements the hospital’s mission and goals through established policies, procedures and performance improvement activities. Responsibilities include administering individualized, age‑specific professional nursing care to patients, maintaining required documentation and statistical data, assisting with quality improvement activities, monitoring clinical outcomes, and serving as a mentor for the professional staff within the Interventional Radiology Department.

Administer patient care in the Radiology Department for diagnostic and interventional procedures, utilize assessment techniques and teaching to determine effectiveness of care, document responses to procedures when needed, participate in quality improvement activities, and apply growth and development principles to assess each patient’s age‑specific needs.
