Job Overview

The Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse Director leads a best-in-class cardiac catheterization laboratory in Eastern New Jersey, partnering with cardiology, electrophysiology, pharmacy, anesthesia, and case management teams to advance clinical excellence and program growth.

• Guide the cardiac cath lab and EP lab operations, driving program expansion, operational excellence, and quality outcomes.
• Oversee clinical operations, staffing models, budget stewardship, supply and device management.
• Manage quality metrics, accreditation readiness, radiation safety, sedation standards, and throughput.
• Lead coaching, mentoring, and shared-governance initiatives to advance door-to-balloon performance, patient experience, and zero-harm culture.
• Coordinate continuous improvement across STEMI workflows, complex PCI and structural heart coordination, electrophysiology case growth, and post-procedure recovery pathways.
• Collaborate with clinical educators, charge RNs, data analysts, and materials management to support team development.

Reports to the Chief Nursing Officer and partners with the Medical Director of Cardiology and EP.
