PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Quality Assurance Technician will perform functions of QA/QC, Batching, Ingredient storage area maintenance, Process equipment Sanitation.
Reports to Production/QC Manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS- Minimum 1 yr in food industry, food safety, and/or QA experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Able to work in a team‑oriented environment
- Organized and detail oriented
- Knowledge of GMP
- Basic computer skills
- 2pm-10pm EVENING SHIFT
- Maintain quality documentation in orderly fashion for management review.
- Maintain sanitation log and sanitation chemical inventory log.
- Ensure equipment is calibrated and documented.
- Assist in SQF program and employees training.
- Follow GMP’s and food safety guidelines.
- Report any urgent quality or food safety incident to Quality Assurance and Plant/Production manager.
- Conduct daily pre‑operational inspection.
- Maintain testing records.
- Perform basic data entry.
- Oversee sanitation procedures.
