Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance coordination, and tenant relations.
  • Oversee property leasing activities by marketing vacant units, conducting tours, and negotiating lease agreements to maximize occupancy.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8, LIHTC, and other legal requirements.
  • Utilize property management software (Yardi, One Site) to maintain accurate records and financial reporting.
  • Coordinate maintenance and facilities management using CMMS tools to uphold property standards and safety.
  • Handle administrative responsibilities related to landlord-tenant law, legal contracts, lease enforcement, and documentation management.
  • Resolve resident and stakeholder issues through effective conflict management and customer service.
  • Conduct regular inspections, oversee vendors, and ensure timely resolution of maintenance concerns.
  • Promote upselling opportunities to enhance tenant experience and increase property value.
Must-Have Skills
  • 1-2+ years of property management experience
  • Strong organizational, data entry, and administrative skills.
  • Effective communication and conflict resolution abilities with a customer service focus.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Prior experience managing multi-family assets
  • Prior experience with LITHC / Affordable Housing assets
