Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced R&D Director to establish and lead our first US-based R&D Center in New Jersey. This role will drive the creation and enhancement of breakthrough cosmetic products, integrating cutting‑edge technologies and global consumer insights to advance RéVive’s innovation pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:- Build & Lead US R&D Center (0-1):
Establish and manage the US R&D Center from inception. Spearhead end‑to‑end development of innovative cosmetic products, refine R&D processes, and ensure alignment with corporate objectives. Includes market data analysis, project design, and execution. - Consumer‑Driven Innovation:
Translate consumer insights into actionable R&D strategies to deepen category understanding, anticipate market trends, and refine product concepts/formulations. - Technology Scouting & Application:
Proactively identify and integrate novel technologies, ingredients, and methodologies into skincare development. Collaborate with global R&D teams on cross‑regional innovation projects to drive technology transfer and deployment. - Global
Collaboration:
Foster seamless communication and knowledge‑sharing with international R&D centers. Co‑lead global projects, optimize resource utilization, and elevate collective R&D efficiency and innovation output.
Education & Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- 8 years of product development experience within the cosmetics industry.
- Proven expertise in premium/luxury anti‑aging skincare (mandatory).
- Global Mindset:
Ability to operate effectively across cultures and time zones. - Strategic Vision:
Deep understanding of global skincare trends, technologies, and competitive landscape. - Leadership:
Experience building/scaling R&D teams and infrastructure. - Technical Excellence:
Strong formulation expertise and scientific acumen. - Collaboration:
Exceptional communication skills for cross‑functional and global teamwork. - Location:
Must be based in/relocate to the New York/New Jersey area.
