• Collaborate with Expert Growers, Plant Scientists, and Operations Leadership to achieve experiment goals.
• Ensure timely completion of pruning, harvesting, cleaning, and sanitizing tasks.
• Manage each experimental cohort in line with experiment specifications.
• SANITIZE facilities, prepare, and transplant seedlings during experiment setup.
• Observe plants, collect and analyze data, and provide recommendations.
• Flag, research, and assist in problem solving for quality or yield concerns.
• Collaborate with experts on setting up experiments, vertical farming technologies, IPM, chemical safety, and food safety.
• Work cross‑functionally with R&D, Farm Production, Engineering, Marketing & Sales to share knowledge, prioritize, plan, and deliver results.
• Handle bee‑related responsibilities, such as pollen feeding and bee health checks.

• 1‑2 years of experience in a vertical farm, greenhouse, or traditional farm (strawberry knowledge or experience a plus).
• Proven capability to tend plant needs with attention to detail and dexterity.
• Ability to take direction and work independently or as part of a small team in a collaborative, cross‑functional department.
• Passion for plants and awareness of the latest developments in indoor agriculture and strawberry farming.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to shift priorities quickly, solve problems, and exercise sound judgment in the absence of process or policy.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the tenacity to develop ideas, processes, and policies and implement them rapidly.
• Track record of handling complex employee relations and addressing sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.

Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5:30 PM

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to climb a ladder.
• Ability to crouch or kneel.
• Ability to reach and stretch.
• Hand dexterity.
• Comfortable in an active, non‑sedentary role for up to 5‑6 hours at a time.
• MUST NOT be allergic to bees.
• The role is hands‑on with about 80% of the time spent on the farm tending to plants.
