Sales Associate

The Sales Associate creates a thoughtful and engaging shopping experience through customer connection, product storytelling, and strong knowledge of the Kanibal & Co. brand and assortment in order to drive sales.

• Greet customers and assist them with all shopping needs, including recommendations and sizing
• Check out customers, thoughtfully ringing and wrapping their items, and accurately completing each transaction
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing inventory deliveries
• Partner with the team on all opening and closing procedures
• Support visual merchandising updates and help launch new product on the sales floor with urgency and care
• Assist with social media content creation during shifts on an as‑needed basis
• Support thoughtful selling by making personalized recommendations and helping customers discover new products
• Maintain awareness of the sales floor and proactively support restocking, organization, and customer flow throughout the day
• Contribute to the welcoming and creative energy of the shop through customer interactions and attention to detail
• Feel comfortable occasionally appearing in social media content or helping capture in‑store moments

• You’re excited by thoughtfully curated retail, design, gifting, and community-driven small businesses
• You're a natural communicator who connects easily with customers and teammates alike
• You genuinely enjoy helping people and take pride in creating a great experience, whether you're ringing someone up or tracking down the perfect item in the back
• You thrive in a fast-moving environment and bring energy and focus even on the busiest days
• You're flexible and reliable, available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as the business needs
• You're comfortable standing for extended periods of time
• You're able to move through the sales floor with ease and lift up to 30 pounds

$19–21/hour

This is a full-time hourly position with a pay range of $19–21 per hour
.
