The Opportunity
We’re seeking a driven, relationship-oriented Sales Representative to help grow our customer base and deepen our presence in an expanding market. This field-based role is ideal for someone who thrives on building long-term relationships, navigating complex sales cycles, and operating with autonomy and ownership.
As a core member of our commercial team, you’ll play a critical role in identifying high-value leads, closing new business, and nurturing client relationships across various industry sectors. You’ll be a trusted problem-solver, face-to-face with customers, driving growth with persistence and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business through cold outreach, site visits, referrals, and digital engagement
- Target customers across landscaping, nurseries, fertilizer, paver/cement, and general contracting sectors
- Manage the full sales cycle—from first contact to final agreement
- Build trust with clients by understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions
- Expand and strengthen existing client relationships to increase retention and spend
- Develop a territory strategy focused on creating efficient, high-density customer clusters
- Operate with ownership, accountability, and a boots-on-the-ground mentality
- Maintain a clear and organized sales pipeline in CRM systems
- Report market insights and customer feedback to leadership
- Collaborate on growth initiatives and regional sales strategy
- 2+ years of outside or B2B sales experience
- Familiarity with landscaping, nursery, compost, fertilizer, or construction materials is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and consultative sales skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in the field
- Ability to juggle multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce, Hub Spot) and digital prospecting platforms
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout assigned territory
