** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors and staff by following site-specific, security-related procedures and policies, including entry screening at designated access points.

+ Screen persons and belongings using approved methods and screening equipment, verify identification and/or credentials, and direct individuals to the appropriate processing area.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site representatives and emergency services as directed by post orders.

+ Conduct security-related checks of screening lanes and surrounding areas, help to identify prohibited items or unusual activity, and maintain orderly flow of visitors.

+ Complete required activity logs and incident reports, communicate observations to the Allied Universal supervisor and/or site contacts, and support security-related investigations as requested.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + A minimum of 2 years of security experience is required.

+ Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
