Position: Security Officer - Lobby Screening - Jersey City
Allied Universal - Up to $30.55/hour -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to visitors and staff by following site-specific screening procedures, access control policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.;
Screen visitors and belongings using approved methods and equipment, verify identification and/or credentials when required, and direct individuals to appropriate entry points and services.;
Maintain a professional presence at screening checkpoints, monitor for prohibited items or suspicious behavior, and help to deter unauthorized entry or policy violations.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notifications to site contacts, and detailed documentation.;
Conduct regular and random patrols of designated public areas and perimeter zones when assigned, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or unusual conditions through appropriate channels.
