The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey is seeking Trainees for a year-long program across carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and painting. Trainees will assist in maintenance, repair and installation of structures and equipment, including doors, floors and piping systems.
Training includes classroom and on-the-job components with potential pathways to journey-level craft work. Successful candidates will train in Fire Marshal duties and may be assigned tasks in snow removal and adverse weather
