Full Time Lead Mobile Response Worker
Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark is seeking a Full Time Lead Mobile Response Worker for its Mobile Response & Stabilization Services Program located in Jersey City, NJ.
About the Mobile Response & Stabilization Services ProgramThe Mobile Response program is based in Jersey City and provides families with counseling, guidance, and referral services to address juvenile crises and help stabilize and preserve the family unit. It addresses juvenile behavioral problems such as truancy, chronic runaways, family disputes, and curfew violations. Services are available 24/7/365 to help children and youth experiencing emotional or behavioral crises. Workers respond to calls within one hour and use agency-owned cars to travel to the crisis location.
PositionDuties
- Provide mobile crisis intervention and assessment and stabilization ranging from 72 hours to 8 weeks, and case management services to families and children.
- Coordinate a comprehensive individualized crisis plan that meets the family’s needs.
- Coordinate discharge/transition services, including referral and linkage to appropriate levels of need.
- Audit client records and plan appropriate corrective action.
- Coordinate team weekly schedules to ensure adequate program coverage.
- Lead daily dispatch teams.
- Assist in coordinating team training schedules.
- Monitor development of specializations and the library of community resources.
- Assist Program Supervisor with orientation processes.
- Assist Program Supervisor with other duties as requested.
- Master's Degree in Social Work or a related human services field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience with children and families, preferably in crisis assessment and intervention.
- Valid driver's license.
- Bilingual Spanish‑English preferred; previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.

The salary for this position is $58,000‑$62,000 annually.
