POSITION (S):
School Social Worker
REQUIREMENTS:
- Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university
- New Jersey Standard School Social Worker Certification
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Actively participates in CST meetings to determine eligibility and develop of Individualized Educational Programs (IEPs).
- Conducts assessments and diagnostic examinations of students for the purpose of identifying learning or social interaction issues.
- Performs counseling services and case management.
- Assists students and teaching staff in implementing students' behavior management plans.
- Coordinates with outside agencies, organizations and institutions, including state and federal authorities as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by the District Superintendent or Director of Special Education as the Superintendent's designee.
SALARY/STIPEND: As Per Contract
