We are currently seeking a Java / Spring Boot Engineer - APIs for Banking Payments - HYBRID to join our team in Jersey City, New Jersey (US-NJ), United States (US).

Seeking a Java/Spring Boot Engineer to build and enhance API‑driven microservices supporting transactional banking products. Role includes development, integration with Oracle, and deployment on Open Shift.

• Develop and maintain Java/Spring Boot microservices for payments and transaction processing.
• Build secure, scalable REST APIs and integration components.
• Write efficient SQL and perform Oracle data integrations.
• Deploy and support applications on Open Shift (containers, configs, troubleshooting).
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with BAs, QA, Dev Ops, and architects across the delivery lifecycle.

• 5+ years of experience in Java and Spring Boot development.
• 3+ years of transactional banking (payments, cash management, real‑time transactions).
• 3+ years understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and JSON.
• 3+ years experience with Oracle, SQL queries, and data modeling.
• 2+ years with Open Shift or Kubernetes.
• 2+ years experience with Git, CI/CD, and Agile delivery.

• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Splunk, Kibana)

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $87,120 - $181,500. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
