Senior Java Software Engineer

We are currently hiring for a Java Full Stack Engineer in Westlake, TX, Merrimack, NH, Jersey City, NJ, and Smithfield, RI!

• Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject area
• Cloud-native REST API development using Java, Angular, Maven, Stash, Spring Boot and OpenAPI standards 3+ years of experience working with event streaming / messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, Kafka Streams, SQL Query creation, and Dev Ops with Jenkins
• Ownership of the entire secure SDLC, and extensive experience with Dev Ops CI/CD practices, TDD, BDD, automated security and quality testing using tools like REST Assured/Cucumber/etc., modern test and mock frameworks and service virtualization tools like Wire Mock to rapidly deliver, measure, and iterate features to customers
• 3+ years of experience with database technologies, preferably Oracle SQL & PL/SQL
• Working experience within an Agile (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) development environment
• Working experience in Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
• Working knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools (i.e., Jenkins, uDeploy, Git)

• Experience with Oracle or EC2 databases is a plus
• Experience with Hibernate ORM
• Experience with Containerization (preferably Docker)
• Experience with Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) is a plus
• Experience working with source control systems (preferably Git Hub)
• Experience with financial services domains is a plus
