Technical Architect / Senior Java Engineer
Locations:
Jersey City
We are looking for an experienced Technical Architect / Senior Java Engineer to join a high‑impact team supporting enterprise‑scale applications. This role requires strong hands‑on expertise in Java, modern backend technologies, and cloud‑native architectures.
Must‑Have Technical Skills- Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot
- Kafka, MQ
- 10+ years of overall experience
- Design, develop, and support scalable Java‑based applications
- Build and maintain microservices using Spring Boot and REST APIs
- Work with Kafka, MQ, and Mule Soft for messaging and integration
- Apply object‑oriented programming principles and design patterns
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable Java code
- Contribute to architectural and design decisions
- Implement automated testing frameworks and unit tests
- Collaborate within Agile teams and support CI/CD processes
- Work with cloud platforms and container orchestration (
Kubernetes
) - Troubleshoot performance issues and support production systems
- Strong understanding of:
- JVM internals and class loading
- Experience with:
- External and embedded databases
- Build tools:
Maven, Gradle, Ant - CI/CD, Kafka, MQ, SQL, Splunk, performance optimization
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to mentor and guide team members
- Quick learner with the ability to grasp new technical concepts
