Python Full Stack Developer

10 is currently seeking a Python Full Stack Developer - Hybrid position (3 days onsite) located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a contract opportunity.

This role is with a Major Financial Institution and is responsible for building, testing, and deploying scalable software solutions using Python. The ideal candidate will work across back-end systems, APIs, and data-driven applications to support a variety of technical and business needs, with a desirable focus on the financial and risk management domains.

• Develop and maintain server-side applications, APIs, and scripts using Python
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions
• Integrate databases, third-party services, and APIs into applications
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
• Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure application reliability
• Participate in code reviews and support continuous integration and deployment processes

• 8+ years of prior experience as a developer in the required technologies
• Experience developing highly scalable applications in Core Python
• Hands‑on experience with Python web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
• Experience working on SQL with the ability to run various data analytics tasks and queries
• Strong proficiency in Python and related frameworks
• Experience with RESTful APIs, database integration, and version control systems
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object‑oriented programming
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to work independently or in agile teams

• Exposure to JavaScript technologies (preferably React)
• Exposure to Azure Databricks environment (PySpark, notebooks, integrate repos, job workflows, delta lake, unity catalog etc)
• Exposure to Azure environment and various interconnected Azure components (Functions, App Service, Containers etc)
• Knowledge on Financial domain and mainly Risk management
• Familiarity with front‑end technologies, cloud platforms, or Dev Ops tools

$81.07 - $86.07 per Hour
