Python Developer

Job Description

This is a hands‑on individual contributor role within a team developing financial products. This entire org supports the trading control function. The current focus is on enhancing a valuation platform, including expanding production capabilities and integrating new features. The developer will work closely with end users, so strong communication skills are essential.

• 7+ years of experience in Python development
• More application focused than infrastructure focused
• Strong experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle)
• Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming principles (OOP)
• Experience with data storage systems
• Prior experience in a lead or mentorship role
• Familiarity with microservices architecture
• Background in financial services or valuation platforms
• Oracle experience
• Hadoop or HDFS experience for data storage
