Angular Front End Developer

BNY is a leading global financial services company committed to leveraging AI and technology to drive transformative solutions. This listing describes an Angular Developer role based in Jersey City, NJ or New York City (240 Greenwich) with a hybrid schedule requiring four days onsite per week.

We are seeking an experienced Angular Developer to join a dynamic team supporting both new development and legacy application enhancements. The position focuses on building and enhancing Angular-based dashboards that deliver real-time data insights for internal stakeholders and client-facing presentations.

• Frontend Development:
  Design, develop, and maintain applications using Angular (v18+) and Type Script, with a focus on scalable, component-based architecture
• Application Enhancement:
  Support a 50/50 mix of new development and updates to legacy systems, including minor enhancements and vulnerability resolution
• UI/UX Implementation:
  Apply strong UI/UX principles to build intuitive, high-impact dashboards and user interfaces
• Collaboration:
  
  Partner with backend developers, UX designers, and project managers to integrate APIs and deliver high-quality solutions
• Code Quality & Debugging:
  Write clean, efficient code (JavaScript, HTML, CSS), troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to development standards
• Agile Delivery:
  Participate in Agile sprints, manage shifting priorities, and contribute independently while collaborating across teams
• Dev Ops & Change Management:
  Support deployment processes and ensure code compliance within established frameworks

• 3–5 years of experience working with Angular (v18+) and Type Script
• Hands-on experience with Angular CDK, Angular Material, and data visualization tools (e.g., High Charts)
• Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles
• Experience integrating with REST APIs
• Ability to work independently and contribute to team-based development efforts
• Bachelor’s degree required

• Professional experience with Java or Python
• Experience working across multiple technologies or jumping into different codebases
• Exposure to Dev Ops environments and change management processes

This is a high-visibility role supporting innovative dashboard development used for real-time insights and client demonstrations. You’ll work in a collaborative, Agile environment with opportunities to contribute to both modern and legacy systems while gaining exposure to impactful, business-facing technology.

58 - 70 USD hourly
