Sr Full Stack Java Developer

About the Role

Senior Full Stack Developer – Global Funds Transfer Systems (GFTS) at Brown Brothers Harriman.

• Design and develop application functionality that meets business requirements within deadlines.
• Build scalable, extensible components with a focus on standardization, modularity, simplicity, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with business analysts to define application requirements and participate in technical and database design.
• Identify coding patterns and anti‑patterns, enforce them through code reviews.
• Resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis, technology evaluation, and performance tuning.

• 7+ years of relevant software development experience.
• Experience building Angular UIs.
• Proficient in Java (11+), Java EE and core libraries.
• Experience with Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, REST APIs and JMS.
• Good knowledge of RDBMS concepts and SQL.
• Experience with containers, Kubernetes and cloud platforms such as Open Shift is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills, eagerness to learn new technologies, and willingness to collaborate and share knowledge.

Salary Range: $145,000 – $175,000 base salary + annual bonus target. In addition to the base salary, the BBH compensation package includes discretionary bonuses and profit‑sharing.
