Akkodis is seeking a Senior Python Developer for a contract job in Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid). The ideal candidate has a strong background in Python, REST, and React

JS, and preferably experience in financial services in the Global Market.

Python Developer job responsibilities include:

• 5+ years of hands‑on programming experience in an object‑oriented language, preferably Python.
• 3+ years as a senior developer on front‑office banking applications, with knowledge of fixed‑income products a plus.
• 3+ years as a quantitative researcher and developer, capable of handling domain‑specific data analysis.
• 2+ years developing risk and pricing applications.
• 3+ years in REST, React
  
  JS, or full‑stack development.
• Experience with object databases and relational databases.

Desired

Qualifications:

• Experience or knowledge of trade surveillance and market misconduct in the global market (optional, but a plus).
• Subject‑matter expertise on the Quartz platform (a big plus).

Pay Details: $60.00 to $68.00 per hour
