Vice President, Software Engineering

Vice President, Software Engineering with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Jersey City, New Jersey. Multiple positions available. Develop, enhance, support and maintain the Firm’s software solutions in support of its global businesses. Design and implement high-quality, scalable and thoughtful technology solutions leveraging both internal and open-source services. Requires:
Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or a related field and three (3) years of experience in job offered or a related software engineering role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or a related field and five (5) years of experience in job offered or a related software engineering role.

Prior experience must include three (3) years of experience (with a Master’s degree) OR five (5) years of experience (with a Bachelor's degree) with 5 of the 7 following skills: C++ or Java; full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and production support; building multi-threaded and multi-process service-oriented enterprise applications within Unix environment; programming technologies including Spring, Hibernate, Rabbit

MQ, or Kafka; relational database management system (RDBMS) such as Sybase or Oracle; micro-services architecture design and development including REST, Spring, or other back-end technologies; and database query languages, including SQL or No

SQL technologies such as Mongo

Salary Range:
Annual base salary for this Jersey City, New Jersey-based position is $190,000 - $259,800.
