- Strong hands‑on experience with Unix and Perl scripting for application development and support.
- Working knowledge of C programming, with the ability to make minor code changes, compile, and deploy.
- Experience with messaging systems, preferably IBM MQ.
- Good working knowledge of Sybase databases.
- Strong experience in query tuning and database design/modeling.
- Experience with mainframe connectivity, including tools such as Shadow Direct.
- Working knowledge of CGI programming.
- Experience with Apache web servers.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines.
- Good problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Working knowledge of .NET and Java.
- Develop, maintain, and support applications using Unix and Perl.
- Perform minor enhancements and fixes in C programs, including compilation and deployment.
- Work on messaging interfaces (IBM MQ) for system integration and communication.
- Write, optimize, and tune database queries, and support database design improvements.
- Manage connectivity and data exchange with mainframe systems.
- Develop and maintain CGI‑based components and web modules.
- Support and troubleshoot applications running on Apache web servers.
- Monitor application performance and handle production issues effectively.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects.
- Participate in release cycles, deployments, and post‑production support activities.
- Ensure timely delivery of tasks while maintaining quality and stability of applications.
