Overview
As a Salesforce Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Asset and Wealth Management Technology team, you are part of an agile team that builds and delivers trusted market‑leading technology products. Your focus will be on designing, developing, and deploying solutions across Salesforce Service Cloud, Apex, Lightning Web Components, and integrations to support the global sales organization.
Job Responsibilities- Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with an innovative mindset.
- Develop secure, high‑quality production code and review and debug code written by others.
- Leverage Salesforce platform offerings to solve business problems.
- Analyze and document existing complex custom processes and propose streamlining options.
- Drive end‑to‑end initiatives and perform hands‑on development with Apex, LWC, Lightning Components, Visualforce, , Workflows, Triggers, REST API, JavaScript, and related client‑side technologies.
- Perform Salesforce administration and configuration, including Sites, Security, CORS, Connected Apps, and more.
- Work with Salesforce sandboxes, integrations, and application development; use Salesforce Data Loader.
- Integrate third‑party systems with Salesforce, including Single Sign On, Partner API, and Enterprise API.
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands‑on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Very strong knowledge of the Salesforce product suite.
- Practical experience with Apex, LWC, Lightning Components, Visualforce, , Workflows, Triggers, REST API, JavaScript, and related client‑side technologies.
- Architecture leadership to design and drive end‑to‑end initiatives.
- Experience across the full application life cycle from technical design to deployment.
- Proficiency in automation, continuous delivery methods, and the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- Demonstrated proficiency in technical processes within a discipline such as cloud, AI, machine learning, or mobile.
- In‑depth knowledge of the financial services industry and its IT systems.
- Practical cloud‑native experience.
- Salesforce certifications.
