Overview
Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer. 2 weeks a month onsite in Jersey City. Interview, likely 2 rounds, possibly 1 onsite. No relocation or interview expenses will be reimbursed for this role.
Description:
2 weeks a month onsite in Rhode Island. No relocation or travel expenses will be provided. Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance. Rate: $60-70/ hr. w2
As a database developer and data analyst, you’ll work on analyzing and designing data structures to support various applications, new features, taking these from concept to deployment, as part of our cross functional teams.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring- 10+ years of hands-on experience as a database developer in Oracle. Strong data analysis, design, and coding skills.
- Strong RDBMS skills – SQL querying, writing stored procedures, triggers, functions, pipeline functions, views, table partitioning
- Knows how to restrict access through roles, user privileges and object privileges
- Has done performance tuning of stored procedures and queries.
- Has used SQL Loader to load large files.
- Experience working with OLTP Systems.
- Has used SQL Plus command.
- Knowledge of Oracle AQ messaging.
- Comfortable working on Linux servers and writing shell programs.
- Experience working with team in Agile methodology
- Knowledge of core java is a plus
- AWS Cloud experience is a plus
- 5+ years work experience in financial industry preferably in Capital markets/Prime brokerage.
- Understand glossaries and terminologies in financial industry
- Knowledge of accounting concepts is nice to have.
- Prime Brokerage application development experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams.
- Good communication skill to both technology folks and business partners.
- Quick learner, adaptable, has the right attitude to work across teams to find and deploy solutions.
- Committed to timely and quality deliverables.
- Team player
Bachelor’s or master’s Degree in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) required with 10+ years of experience
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
