Senior Application Developer

10 is currently seeking a Senior Application Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ or Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role is an active participant in a scrum team, focusing on the design, development, and deployment of solutions for Enterprise Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) screening. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Oracle databases, Informatica ETL, and Linux, and will interact daily with the product owner to groom and complete stories in an Agile environment.

• Actively participate in the scrum team and interact with the product owner daily
• Design, develop, and deploy solutions in Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL), Informatica/ETL, and Linux
• Estimate, tailor, and groom stories for timely completion
• Implement Enterprise Sanctions and AML screening on the Net Reveal Platform
• Manage and process large datasets efficiently
• Integrate Data Warehouse solutions with Business Intelligence platforms

• 15+ years of work experience in application development
• Expertise in developing highly optimized Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code for large-scale data processing
• Extensive hands‑on experience with relational and dimensional data modeling, including Star and Snowflake schemas
• Strong proficiency with Informatica (Power Center and IDMC) along with Linux/Unix scripting
• Deep understanding of Oracle database architecture and core database internals
• Advanced query and application performance tuning capabilities in high-volume environments
• Ability to design, model, and optimize database schemas for scalability and performance
• Problem‑solver with effective communication skills and the ability to work with self‑direction

• Experience with Hadoop, Tableau, and Power BI
• Strong proficiency in Tableau development and dashboard visualization
• Familiarity with Delta Lake and Lakehouse architectures
• Experience with containers and cloud platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Exposure to APIs, Spring, Java, Kafka, MQ, YAML
• Experience with distributed systems
• Knowledge of Financial Crimes, Economic Sanctions, Banking, Financial Services, and Sanctions screening
• Experience with Agile Delivery and JIRA

Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour
