Full Stack Digital Software Engineering Group Manager, Senior Vice President

Position Overview

We are hiring a Payments Technology Lead to manage and deliver large‑scale, complex software initiatives within the payments ecosystem for Wealth NAM. The role leads a highly skilled engineering team, drives strategic planning, ensures alignment with business impact, and manages budgets, people, and high‑quality delivery.

• Attract and develop senior talent, setting high performance standards and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Identify trends to develop skills within and across teams, sharing best practices for talent development.
• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale payments platforms, gateways, fraud detection systems, and core banking integrations, including new product development and significant refactoring.
• Manage payments stewardship by designing scalable, resilient high‑volume, low‑latency systems, maintaining detailed technical knowledge, and improving consistency and integration across related legacy systems.
• Audit and align department goals with organization‑wide objectives, ensuring accountability for results.
• Communicate a clear department vision that supports broader organizational goals and reinforces leadership principles.
• Influence technical and business strategy, solve ambiguous problems, and streamline solutions across multiple teams.
• Lead the design and code review process, promote best practices in security, quality, and operational excellence, and own the outcome of software delivery.
• Participate in hiring, mentoring, and talent development to grow the engineering team.
• Assess risk, enforce compliance, maintain corporate reputation, and supervise the overall activity of the team with accountability.

• 10+ years of experience in product line management, e-commerce, or strategic planning.
• Expertise in front‑end development with Angular and back‑end services with Java and APIs.
• Strong background designing resilient, high‑performance microservices architectures with MongoDB and continuous deployment pipelines using CI/CD best practices.
• Experience building complex transactional and business models.
• Deep understanding of payments domain, including networks, clearing & settlement, fraud management, and regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO 20022, PCI DSS).
• Ability to deliver high‑quality technology products in a growth environment with shifting priorities.
• Proficiency in using data and metrics to support assumptions and develop business cases.
• First‑class leadership and influencing skills, including managing a technical team.
• Experience identifying and developing talent for product management roles.

• Bachelor’s or university degree; master’s degree preferred.
