Position OverviewThe Senior Full Stack Engineer will lead the design, development, and deployment of mission‑critical software systems for a prominent US banking client within Financial Services. The team’s mission is to shape engineering standards, architectural direction, and technical strategy while mentoring the engineering team and ensuring alignment with core financial business outcomes.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Architect full‑stack solutions using Java/Spring backend, React/Angular frontend, and AWS cloud services.
- Lead design sessions, technical planning, and backlog refinement for engineering tasks.
- Define coding standards, secure coding practices, and performance guidelines.
- Drive CI/CD maturity, observability, and Dev Ops best practices.
- Guide the definition of cloud‑native patterns (serverless, microservices, containerization). Mentor engineers and influence cross‑team decisions to ensure reliability, scalability, and security.
- Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Microservices Architecture – 10+ years experience.
- React or Angular – 5+ years experience.
- AWS Expert Level Proficiency (EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, etc.) – 5+ years experience.
- Advanced system design, distributed systems, and integration architecture.
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation).
- High‑scale event streaming (Kafka, Kinesis) and advanced container orchestration (EKS, Kubernetes).
- Observability stacks (Datadog, Cloud Watch, Prometheus, Grafana).
The ideal candidate is a seasoned Senior Full Stack Engineer with extensive experience in the Financial Services domain, deep expert‑level mastery in enterprise Java ecosystems and cloud‑native architecture, and a proactive, leadership‑oriented approach suited to mentoring teams and influencing cross‑functional engineering decisions.
Visa considerations: EAD, GC, and US Citizens are preferred, but no hard visa restrictions exist if valid. Non‑local candidates who cannot work hybrid 3 days per week will not be considered.
