Workshop Studio (WS) is an AWS platform that powers hands‑on technical learning and product experiences for AWS customers. The Catalog & Events team builds the core AI and platform infrastructure, including the Content Catalog Service and Events Service. The role focuses on architecting AI‑enabled services, multi‑tenant content management, secure authentication, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Build agentic AI capabilities on Amazon Bedrock Agent Core such as content discovery, guided participant support, automated session summaries, agent‑assisted authoring, and simulated participant playthroughs.
- Design a multi‑tenant content store with per‑partner isolation, fine‑grained access controls, and lifecycle tooling.
- Develop integration APIs that enable marketplace and builder center teams to provision sandbox environments on demand.
- Evolve the authentication architecture across multiple identity providers to support partner authentication and cross‑tenant content sharing.
- Lead design reviews, mentor backend and frontend engineers, produce architectural documents, and steer multi‑year platform decisions.
- Own production health: on‑call rotations, incident response, retrospective reviews, and runbook maintenance.
- 6+ years of professional software development experience (non‑internship).
- 5+ years programming in at least one language.
- 4+ years leading design or architecture of scalable systems.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience as a mentor or tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience (coding standards, code reviews, source control, build, testing, operations).
- Knowledge of machine learning model architecture and inference.
- 5+ years of experience building highly scalable systems.
Base salary ranges:
- USA, NJ, Jersey City: – USD annually
- USA, TX, Austin: – USD annually
