Overview
Role: Salesforce and Selenium Automation Engineer
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Experience: 8+ years
Salary Range: $110,000-$125,000 a year
Responsibilities- Framework Development:
Design, build, and maintain robust Selenium-based automation frameworks from scratch, typically using Java or Python. - Test Execution:
Automate critical business flows including login, lead conversion, and record creation within the Salesforce Lightning UI. - Integration & API Testing:
Validate complex integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and ETL tools. - CI/CD Integration:
Integrate automated test suites into Dev Ops pipelines using tools like Azure Dev Ops (ADO) or Jenkins to enable continuous quality gates. - Defect Management:
Perform root-cause analysis on failures, conduct defect triage, and collaborate with developers to ensure timely closures. - Agile
Collaboration:
Participate in sprint planning, provide feedback on technical design documents, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Primary skills:
Lightning Experience, Sales/Service Cloud, FSC, Hands-on proficiency with Selenium - Web Driver, often paired with TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber, Java/ Python, Git, Azure Dev Ops, and CI/CD workflows
- Experience:
Minimum 8+ years
