** Role Overview As an Application Programmer, you will partner with multiple Information Technology teams to design and implement solutions of high significance to the organization's liquidity, risk management, forecasting, and analytics.

This role offers the opportunity to partner across the enterprise to discover and evaluate new technologies, engage in training, and grow your network.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain core Java/J2EE applications with a focus on object-oriented design.
* Design and implement solutions using frameworks such as Spring and Spring Boot.
* Optimize performance for data-intensive applications and conduct performance profiling to identify improvements and memory optimizations.
* Apply strong coding, debugging, and analytical skills to build and enhance large-scale enterprise applications.
* Utilize knowledge of multi-threading, collections framework, and JDBC in application development.
* Implement innovative, technology-based solutions by applying strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of design patterns.

Required Qualifications
*
* Experience:

** A minimum of 10 years of experience in core Java/J2EE application development and object-oriented design is required.
** Technical

Skills:

*** Proficiency with frameworks such as Spring and Spring Boot.
* Strong skills in multi-threading, collections framework, and JDBC.
* Knowledge of Java profiling tools and performance tuning for data-intensive applications.
* Expertise in performance profiling, with the ability to identify performance improvements and memory optimizations.
* Strong knowledge of design patterns.
* Experience in large-scale enterprise application implementation.

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with in-memory data grids and parallel computing.
* A BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or any quantitative discipline.
* Knowledge of financial markets and the banking industry.
* Familiarity with cloud computing or distributed computing software development in an Agile environment.
