We are seeking an 10-15 years experienced Fidessa Developer to join our Front Office technology team in Jersey City, NJ. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with Fidessa server‑side development
, deep knowledge of equities trading workflows
, and expertise in integrating and supporting Fidessa trading platforms within an investment banking environment.

Required Technical Skills

3+ years of hands‑on experience in Fidessa server‑side development
Strong knowledge of the Fidessa Product Suite
, including:
CASE
FBL
TOP
OMAR
TMAR
PMAC
PARS
NMS
FIX
APAS
FDA
Strong understanding of the FIX Protocol and message flows
Experience with TCL scripting and Unix Shell scripting
Strong experience working on Linux and Windows 10
Experience with Agile SDLC methodologies
Front Office development experience with exposure to trading systems
Strong understanding of equities trading workflows and market structure
Excellent analytical, system design, troubleshooting, and integration skills

Desired Skills

3+ years of Core Java development experience
Hands‑on experience with FDX
Experience with Sybase
FTW development experience is a strong plus

Key Responsibilities

Support and maintain multiple Fidessa trading systems within the Front Office environment.
Integrate Fidessa components with the bank's technology ecosystem to ensure stability and optimal performance.
Perform upgrades of Fidessa product components in line with vendor releases and platform updates.
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and development teams to deliver business and regulatory requirements.
Enable Fidessa applications within Dev Ops CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
Participate in system integration, production support, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and performance tuning.
Ensure delivery of high-quality solutions following Agile SDLC best practices.
Develop a strong understanding of equities trading workflows and support Front Office trading desks.
Manage multiple priorities while taking ownership of assigned deliverables.

Strong understanding of Front Office trading environments
Experience supporting equities trading platforms
Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
