Java Developer

Day To Day Responsibilities

• Good understanding of Java platform (JVM) for performance tuning and management.
• Strong experience in JDBC.
• Solid experience in Java application development using multithreading (concurrent processing).
• Good understanding of JVM performance tuning and management.
• Server‑side application development in Core Java using PL/SQL to access data for data profiling.
• Creative and innovative problem‑solving skills. Solid software development experience with Java, Python, Oracle, and Shell scripting.
• Hands‑on experience with JDK 8. Knowledge of JDK 9 functional programming is a big plus.
• Familiarity with JUnit testing framework and Mocking libraries for unit and system testing.
• Familiar with Linux platform and commands.
• Strong understanding of application architecture.
• Experience creating PL/SQL queries and Stored Procedures.

Job Title: Java Developer

Duration: 12 Months Contract
Schedule: Standard Shift - 8 AM EST to 5 PM EST

Hourly Rate: $60 - $65 per hour. This reflects base compensation and may vary based on candidate qualifications.
