Responsibilities
- Lead solution design and end-to-end delivery for applications built on Inter Systems Cache and Inter Systems IRIS
- Design, develop, test, debug, and document ObjectScript-based services, APIs, batch processes, and data workflows
- Optimize data-centric applications by modeling and tuning IRIS/Cache data structures, SQL access, persistent classes, queries, and application logic
- Lead modernization and integration efforts, including legacy component upgrades and migrations
- Support operational excellence by troubleshooting incidents, performing root-cause analysis, implementing improvements, and mentoring engineers
- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Inter Systems Cache and/or Inter Systems IRIS
- 3+ years of experience building and supporting high-performance, data-centric applications
- 2+ years of Agile delivery experience using Scrum or Kanban
- 3+ years of experience with IRIS/Cache administration (nice to have)
- 2+ years of experience with interoperability and engineering enablement (nice to have)
- 1+ year of experience in regulated environments such as financial services (nice to have)
