Chase's Payments Trust & Safety Technology team, focused on Fraud Protection. Serve as a senior agile team member to design, develop, and deliver secure, stable, and scalable production systems that protect clients from fraudulent behavior.
- Design, develop, and deliver high-quality production code and system designs across frontend and backend components.
- Review, debug, and maintain code written by others; promote secure coding and automated testing practices.
- Monitor and analyze system performance and scalability; plan and implement performance benchmarks and measurement tools.
- Serve as a performance advisor and influence product, business, and technology stakeholders.
- Drive adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices (code review, refactoring, test acceleration, incident analysis) and establish validation standards.
- Automate performance measurement and integrate performance considerations into development practices.
- Formal training or certification in software engineering and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more of:
React, Type Script, Java, Springboot, and Microservices. - Experience with React Router and Module Federation (Micro Frontends).
- Experience with AWS services (ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, EC2), Kafka, NLB and working with databases.
- Proficient in SDLC practices and agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- Demonstrated experience leading safe and responsible use of AI-assisted development tools and coaching teams on validation, data sensitivity, and secure handling of inputs/outputs.
- In-depth knowledge of financial services industry IT systems.
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and strong enterprise architecture design concepts to enable unified user experiences and data sharing via APIs and Kafka.
- Experience with case management workflow and orchestration across cross-functional teams.
- Vibe coding experience and conceptual knowledge of developer assistant tools such as Git Hub Copilot to improve developer efficiency.
