Position Summary
TT (Tractor Trailer) DRIVER – We are looking for an experienced tractor trailer truck driver to serve our transportation and supply chain logistics department in a safe and timely manner.
The TT Relief Driver is responsible for performing drop‑and‑hook tractor trailer moves between company locations, ensuring timely and safe transportation of trailers while maintaining full compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.

Schedule and jobs will vary from week to week.
Compensation$27.68 per hour.
CDL Class A Affiliate Driver:
Transport full and empty loads from Jersey City, NJ to Reading, PA daily. Candidate must have a clean CDL Class A license and valid medical card. This is a union position; after a 90‑day probation period the driver must join Teamsters Local Union No. 429. Health benefits, pension, and 401(k) are available after joining the union. Starting pay rate is $27.68 per hour plus overtime after 40 hours.
- Operate Class A 45ft or 53ft tractor‑trailer in accordance with company policies, procedures, and all applicable DOT regulations.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to various customer locations.
- Perform required pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and roadworthiness.
- Secure loads for transport, ensuring all freight is properly loaded and safely secured prior to departure.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to support daily operations.
- Accurately complete, maintain, and submit all required logs, reports, and paperwork before the end of each shift.
- Operate with flexibility, as daily routes and schedules are subject to change based on operational and routing needs.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) (required).
- Current DOT medical card.
- Knowledge of and strict adherence to DOT Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Clean driving record in accordance with company and insurance standards.
- Ability to perform drop‑and‑hook operations safely and efficiently.
- Ability to work flexible schedules as needed to support operations.
- Previous tractor‑trailer driving experience preferred.
- Ability to climb in and out of tractor multiple times per shift.
- Ability to perform vehicle inspections, including bending, reaching, and walking around equipment.
- Must comply with all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and applicable transportation laws.
