Production & Packaging Associate (Early Morning Shift) Summary
Responsible for processing, packaging, and preparing fresh seafood products for daily shipments while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and product quality. This position requires working in a refrigerated environment and assisting with inventory management, warehouse organization, and basic computer-based administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a multicultural team, and able to adapt to a fast-paced production environment.
EssentialDuties
- Process, package, label, and prepare fresh seafood products for shipment.
- Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming products while maintaining product quality and temperature requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using Microsoft Excel and warehouse management systems.
- Organize inventory following FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and company storage procedures.
- Perform quality inspections and report product or packaging discrepancies.
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the warehouse, processing areas, and shipping dock.
- Support warehouse operations, shipping preparation, and other assigned production activities.
- Follow all food safety, HACCP, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Work effectively with a diverse, multicultural, and multilingual team to achieve daily production goals.
- Full-time (Hourly, Non-Exempt)
- 40 hours per week
- Early morning shift beginning at4:00 AM or 5:00 AM
, depending on operational needs, and ending at 12:30 PM or 1:30 PM

QualificationsRequired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic English communication skills (reading and writing required)
- Reliable means of self-transportation (public transportation is unavailable during early morning shift hours)
- Good verbal communication skills
- Physical ability to temporarily lift and carry up to 70 lbs (approx. 32 kg)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a positive attitude
- Ability to build good working relationships with management and team members
- Ability to frequently lift and carry5–40 pounds
. - Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
- Comfortable working in refrigerated and freezer environments for extended periods while maintaining productivity.
